Crooked Tree Cottage is aptly named for the indigenous tree that drapes over the cottage as well as other parts of the garden. These trees are ideal for the humid subtropical climate of coastal Kwazulu Natal as they provide a restful cooling shade on our hot sunny summer days and lose their leaves in the winter making the view even more spectacular! The sea views from the balconies are magnificent and the bird life is amazing to watch. Vervet monkeys are almost daily visitors and the occasional Woolly Necked Storks can be spotted in the branches of the trees.
